An Ebensburg native has been reported missing in Paris, France.

Alexis Tomacruz, 30, who currently resides in New York City, traveled to Paris at the end of December and had plans to stay through January, according to reports from her friends on Facebook.

She was last in contact with friends about 11 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12.

An official missing person’s report has been filed in France.

According to posts about Tomacruz, she is 5 foot, 2 inches tall, has brown eyes and hair, and is of Filipino and Polish descent.

The Penn State graduate is taking a French class at Accord Langues and yoga classes, her friends report, but they don’t know where.

She has been staying in the 4th Arrondissement near Rambuteau and the Archives Nationales.

Among the social media posts about Tomacruz, friends say her phone appears to be off and her social media accounts have been silent since about 11 p.m. Friday, Paris time.

Friends have been taking to multiple social media sites to spread the word about Tomacruz and include information for contacting Paris authorities as well as local friends and family.
