U.S. Marshals Wednesday recovered a license plate that was previously on a vehicle believed to be stolen by a man who escaped Blair County Prison Dec. 3.
Isaiah Robert Tilghman, 33, was incarcerated on narcotics charges and Pennsylvania State Parole violations when he escaped.
At 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, members of the fugitive task force in Philadelphia recovered Pennsylvania License plate ZNR-9945 in the 3500 block of Belgrade Street. The tag was on a red Ford F-150 stolen by Tilghman in Lakemont. Investigators presume that Tilghman had switched the plates around the morning of Dec. 5.
Tilghman is a Black man, standing 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds.
