Lloyd Rogers of Tyrone penned a poem about his favorite ornament -- a little lamb that commemorates the birth of his now 12-year-old daughter. Rogers, who was 33 when his little girl was born, said he was thrilled to become a dad.
I made one special prayer
with all the faith I had.
I wanted just one thing that year.
That was to finally become a Dad.
I'd been given many presents,
all wrapped with ribbons and lace.
But this gift was given by God,
and adorned with His grace.
It's just a little lamb,
One can clearly see.
But 33 years ago,
It changed the world for me.
My little girl is 12 now,
and I'm such a proud Dad.
I'll always remember Christmas in 2011,
The best I've ever had.
