Stuckey Automotive acquires dealership
CASSVILLE — Stuckey Automotive has acquired Price Motor Sales in Cassville.
Price Motor Sales, a Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealer first established in 1943, was owned and operated by Fred and Susan Price. The dealership is now known as Stuckey Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and is the sixth dealership under the Stuckey Automotive group of companies, joining Stuckey Ford and Stuckey Subaru, both in Hollidaysburg, Stuckey GMC in Altoona, Stuckey Ford of Bellefonte and the Stuckey Mitsubishi Super Centre in State College.
The Price family contacted Stuckey Automotive President Matt Stuckey when they began to look at the next chapter in their lives.
“Before we could act on anything, we had to consider the future of our dealership,” Fred Price said. “We wanted to find someone who would respect and care for our employees, our community, and our family’s legacy as much as we do.”
Price Motor Sales employed seven sales and service professionals, and all of them will join the Stuckey Automotive organization, said Samantha Longenecker, Stuckey director of human resources.
The Price family will continue to own and operate the Price Motor Collision Repair Center in Cassville.
Stuckey Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram will host a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony in spring 2024, at which time the company will announce plans to move the dealership to a new location in Huntingdon.
