Sheetz cuts price of Unleaded 88
Sheetz Inc. announced Thursday it is reducing the price of its Unleaded 88 fuel grade to $2.99 a gallon at Sheetz locations that offer these fuel options.
Unleaded 88 has been approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for use in all 2001 and newer cars, trucks and SUVs.
This promotion is currently in effect and lasts for the remainder of August.

Mount Aloysius partners with Conemaugh Memorial
Mount Aloysius College has announced a program affiliation with the Duke LifePoint Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
Beginning this fall, students who successfully complete all the preparatory coursework in their first three years at Mount Aloysius for their Bachelor of Science in medical laboratory science 3+1 will have the opportunity to participate in a year of courses and local clinical rotations through the Conemaugh School of Medical Laboratory Science to complete their degree.
To be admitted into the Medical Laboratory Science program at Mount Aloysius, students will need to complete high school coursework in biology, chemistry and algebra with a grade of "C" or better.
After completing the collegiate coursework and clinical phase, graduates become eligible to sit for certification exams through the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
Houtzdale, New Enterprise receive groundwater grants
The Houtzdale Municipal Authority and New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co. Inc. are among a dozen recipients of Susquehanna River Basin Commission grants for groundwater level monitoring.
The Houtzdale authority will get $7,500, while NESL will receive $6,000 of the $75,000 being handed out by SRBC.
