A Claysburg man was killed in a motorcycle crash Saturday night.
State police said Lowell D. Musselman, 47, was operating a 2006 Harley-Davidson VRSCR Street Rod about 9:30 p.m. on Helsel Road in Kimmel Township when the motorcycle went toward the edge of the road while going around a slight right curve. The motorcycle began to overturn onto its right side, went off the road and struck a tree, overturned and continued down the embankment, striking a group of trees with its front end and then a second group of trees.
Musselman was thrown from the motorcycle, police reported, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
