Woman faces 200 charges in child sex abuse case
Stonebraker accused of incidents that allegedly occurred from 2013-20

A Hollidaysburg woman faces more than 200 charges related to the sexual abuse of a child, according to court documents.
Marie Louis Stonebraker, 41, is behind bars unable to post $200,000 bail after her arraignment Friday morning before Magisterial District Judge Paula M. Aigner.
Stonebraker faces 72 felony charges of aggravated indecent assault-complainant less than 13 years old, 73 felony charges of indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age, 75 felony charges of corruption of minors-defendant age 18 or above, one felony charge of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child and two misdemeanor charges of indecent exposure.
State police began investigating the case in October after the juvenile victim disclosed information about being abused to a mental health therapist.
The Children's Advocacy Center conducted a forensic interview on Dec. 1, police reported.
During the interview, the victim said she would sleep with Stonebraker until she was about 12 years old, when William Stonebraker was not at the Circle Drive, Frankstown Township, home.
According to court documents, the abuse occurred over several years, from 2013-20, with the victim recalling that when she was 5 years old, Marie Stonebraker would grab and squeeze her privates while the two were showering together.
The victim said Stonebraker would use her fingers to sexually abuse her at least once a month and said she was warned not to tell anyone.
The victim said when she was 10 or 11 years old, she walked into the Stonebraker's bedroom after hearing a loud bang. There she was told by William Stonebraker to stay and watch them have sex. When they were done, he told her "you can leave now." The victim told police Marie Stonebraker knew she was in the bedroom because she looked at her.
The victim said when she was 12 years old, she saw the two having sex again and was told by William Stonebraker to stand by the bed and watch.
William John Stonebraker, 52, was arraigned in March on 634 charges related to the case, including 312 felony charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, 316 felony charges of corruption of minors, one felony count each of strangulation, of aggravated indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age and of indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age; and three misdemeanor charges of indecent exposure.
Marie Stonebraker's preliminary hearing is set for May 23 before Aigner.
According to online court records, William Stonebraker's preliminary hearing has been continued several times and is now also set for May 23 before Aigner.
In a second case, from June 2020, William Stonebraker, then of 140 Winshire Lane, Altoona, faces 386 felony counts and 192 misdemeanor counts stemming from allegations he sexually abused a girl between September 2016 and September 2018. The girl was between the ages of 13 and 15 during the alleged abuse.
The charges in that case were waived to court in August 2020, and he is scheduled for a trial list review May 30.
