One person was shot at a residence along the 2300 block of 4th Avenue, according to Altoona Police and a report by WTAJ.
Police blocked off Fourth Avenue between 23rd and 24th Street, the report stated.
Police said a 30-year-old male was shot and was transported to UPMC Altoona in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
