A Williamsburg woman and an Alexandria man face rape and human trafficking charges for an incident that occurred April 2, 2021, at an Antis Township hotel.
Nikkia Dawn Beck, 41, was arraigned Wednesday before Magisterial District Judge Fred B. Miller on two felony counts of trafficking in individuals and single felony counts of rape of an unconscious person, statutory sexual assault-11 years older, corruption of minors, unlawful contact with a minor, sexual exploitation of children and criminal use of a communication facility, along with two misdemeanor charges of corruption of minors.
Unable to post $100,000 bail, she was remanded to the Blair County Prison. Her preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 3 before Miller.
Donald Lennon Hetrick, 38, who faces the same charges, has yet to be arraigned. His case is listed as inactive in court documents.
State police were notified of the incident when a friend of Beck's found text messages on her cellphone that were sexual in nature. The texts were between Beck and Hetrick, police said, and included Hetrick asking Beck to convince a 14-year-old to come to his motel room.
The friend turned the cellphone over to police, who received a search warrant for the phone.
Police reportedly found text messages between Hetrick and Beck in which Hetrick told Beck he would pay the teen $100 to lay on his bed and let him "explore her for like 45 minutes."
According to court documents, Beck, the victim and another juvenile were staying at a hotel over Easter. Hetrick was also staying at the hotel, but in an adjoining room.
The victim said she and the other juvenile female were in Hetrick's room smoking marijuana and drinking alcoholic beverages provided by Hetrick. Then, Beck called the juvenile female to her room and made her lie down to sleep. The victim told police Beck said she was no longer allowed to stay in her room and had to leave or stay with Hetrick.
Police said the teen fell asleep in Hetrick's room and woke to him groping and then raping her. She also told police she kept falling asleep during the assault because she was high and drunk.
