'Who's Your Neighbor?' panel set

A "Who's Your Neighbor?" panel will be held at 12:15 p.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, in the Ellis Hall Ballroom at Juniata College. The event will feature four Juniata students, Elijah Weaver, Samuel Feagley, Jean Barrera and Shameea Butler-Bonner, who will share stories of transformations and adaptations.

The event is free and open to the public.

Hosted by the Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, the "Who's Your Neighbor?" series invites audiences to learn about the rich diversity of Juniata's campus community by listening to panel members reflect on how their experiences challenge them and encourage personal growth.

Lions to host pancake breakfast

The Cresson Area Lions Club will hold an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, at the Cresson American Legion on Ashcroft Avenue. Tickets are $7 per person.

Dine-in and take-out will be available.

Veterans Day breakfast planned

The Hollidaysburg Area Junior high School faculty, staff and students invite area veterans to a Veterans Day breakfast at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, at the Hollidaysburg Area Junior High School.

The menu will include scrambled eggs, bacon, potato rounds, biscuit, fruit cup, coffee, tea and water.

Those planning to attend should call 814-695-4426 by Wednesday, Oct. 26.
