A teen facing charges in a school shooting plot at Westmont Hilltop High School entered a guilty plea Thursday morning.
Logan Pringle pleaded guilty to charges of criminal conspiracy and making terroristic threats in front of Cambria County Judge David Tulowitzki, according to WJAC reports.
Pringle and 17-year-old Preston Hinebaugh were arrested last December after a trespassing incident at the school in which Hinebaugh let Pringle into the school.
Pringle was not allowed on school property, police said at the time, because he "threatened to shoot up the school" and had a past history of threats and "dangerous actions" toward the school, including lighting a carpet on fire and bringing fireworks to school.
Video surveillance at the school showed the pair going through the halls of the building and looking at camera locations, court documents state.
During the investigation of the trespassing incident, police said it appeared the two teens were planning a school shooting.
Search warrants turned up five AR-15 style firearms, a rifle, a shotgun and ammunition from Hinebaugh's home.
In June, the pair filed a motion to dismiss the case, arguing that they had been "unlawfully" detained due to "insufficient" evidence in the case.
Hinebaugh's father has been charged with evidence tampering in the case after police found multiple weapons at the residence.
Pringle is scheduled to be sentenced in October.
According to court records, a habeas corpus was filed in Hinebaugh's case on June 6.
