New hires and promotions

Joseph A. Loughran, a 1987 graduate of Cambria Heights High School, has been promoted to captain and assigned as the commanding officer of Troop A, Greensburg, by Pennsylvania State Police.

Loughran most recently served as the station commander of Troop A, Indiana.

Loughran enlisted in the state police in 1999. He was promoted to corporal in 2006, sergeant in 2011, and lieutenant in 2015.

Loughran is a 1992 graduate of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a 2015 graduate of the Northwestern University Center for Public Safety School of Police Staff and Command and a 2022 graduate of the FBI National Academy.

Amy Boland of Duncansville has been named the new director of audit services at Washington, D.C., based GRF CPAs & Advisors.

Boland has worked in public accounting since 1994 specializing in audits of nonprofit organizations. She pioneered remote work practices for women at the firm and co-leads the firm’s women’s initiative.

She is a graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic High School  and Penn State.

Shane Crawford has been promoted to senior vice president, senior portfolio adviser, at F.N.B. Wealth Management, an affiliate of First National Bank and a subsidiary of F.N.B. Corp.

With more than two decades of financial services experience, Crawford is responsible for providing investment management services to individual and institutional clients and supervising F.N.B.’s team of portfolio advisers in its Central Mountain Region, which spans 14 counties and includes F.N.B. Wealth Management offices in State College, Hollidaysburg, Huntingdon, Johnstown, Bedford and Somerset.

Robin A. Gore has been named vice president for student affairs at Mount Aloysius College.

Gore comes to Mount Aloysius most recently from Pepperdine University in California, where she served as the associate dean of student affairs. Before her time at Pepperdine, Gore served in a variety of student affairs roles at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. At the Mount, she will be responsible for guiding and overseeing student affairs and Title IV operations for the college.
