Blair County residents can pick up a free rain barrel from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 28, or 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 30, at NatureWorksPark, 108 Bedford Street Hollidaysburg, next to the red barn.
The Blair County Conservation District is hosting the giveaway. The rain barrels will hold up to 50 gallons of water and will include all hardware necessary for a functional rain barrel.
