A Woodbury man was pronounced dead following a two-vehicle accident Monday afternoon on Route 36 in Taylor Township.

State police at Hollidaysburg said the accident occurred about 3:40 p.m. Monday about 63 feet south of the Cabbage Road intersection.

The driver of a 2014 Subaru Legacy heading south on Route 36 veered into the northbound lane and collided with a 2019 Ford Transit. The driver of the Subaru was transported to Conemaugh Nason Medical Center in Roaring Spring, but he was unable to be resuscitated and died from his injuries, state police report. The driver of the Ford, a 63-year-old Roaring Spring man, suffered suspected minor injuries. The names of both men have not been released.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
