Two adults and a child were rescued Saturday when their vehicle became stranded on a flooded road in Frankstown Township.
According to a report on the Geeseytown Community Fire Company Facebook page, crews from Station 30 water rescue team, Cambria boat team 83 out of Portage and two rescue members from the Somerset area responded to the call for a disabled vehicle at 3:51 p.m. along the 2200 block of Juniata Valley Road.
Upon arrival, responders found one vehicle about 150 feet away, and both water rescue crews launched boats to reach the occupants.
All occupants of the vehicle were transported to safety within 25 minutes. No injuries were reported. Hollidaysburg Ambulance Company also assisted at the scene.
