1 min read

A bench warrant has been issued for former Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane.

A Montgomery County judge issued the warrant after Kane was charged with DUI and careless driving, which violate the probation terms of her 2016 conviction.

Kane was allegedly the driver in a two-vehicle crash in Scranton about 6:30 p.m. March 12.

The Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas convicted Kane in 2016 of perjury, false swearing, obstructing the administration of law, conspiracy to obstruct the administration of law, official oppression and conspiracy to commit official oppression to deny rights.

A preliminary hearing for the DUI is set for May 26.
