The Altoona Area School District's family access network, Skyward, went down Wednesday after an undisclosed issue.
Paula Foreman, the district's community relations director, said she could not expand on the cause of the outage and what, if anything, had been lost in the process.
Foreman said the district's tech team had been working on the issue since discovering the outage, and it would have the network fully operational as soon as possible.
By Thursday morning, the district had the system half-operational and Foreman said parents and students would be notified when Skyward was back online.
