State Rep. Lou Schmitt, R-Altoona, will host a free concealed carry seminar at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, at the Bavarian Aid Society in Altoona.

The seminar aims to provide information on the rights and responsibilities gun owners face.

Firearms Owners Against Crime President Kim Stolfer will be the featured speaker. Stolfer will provide an overview of gun laws with a focus on Pennsylvania’s concealed carry laws.
