PEMA to examine damage from Ida

Representatives from the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency are set to visit Bedford County on Friday and Monday to view areas hardest hit by Tropical Storm Ida.

The county’s Department of Emergency Services is seeking to add Bedford County to a federal declaration of disaster for both individuals who report losses with property and municipalities that report damages to roads, bridges, culverts and other public facilities.

Individuals who experienced water in the main living space of their homes or water inside their mobile homes are asked to call 814-623-9117 and leave their name, phone number, address and how much water was in the home.

The Pennsylvania EMA will also visit sites in Cambria, Huntingdon, Bucks, Chester, Dauphin, Delaware, Fulton, Luzerne, Montgomery, Northampton, Philadelphia and York counties.

Starting at $2.99/week.
