Police: Driver running red light caused accident

ROARING SPRING -- Two people were injured in a Tuesday afternoon rollover accident by the Spring Cove Plaza.
First responders were dispatched about 2:30 p.m. for a two-vehicle accident resulting in a rollover at Spang Street and Woodbury Pike.
Roaring Spring Police Chief Greg Wyandt said that according to two witnesses on scene, one vehicle ran a red light and collided with a second vehicle.
The second vehicle rolled over, and injuries were reported for both occupants, police said.
No injuries were reported for the driver of the first vehicle, who was the only occupant, officials said.
Friendship Fire Company, Freedom Township Fire Department, Freedom Township Police and AMED assisted at the scene.
The incident is being investigated by the Roaring Spring Police Department.
