WTAJ-TV of Altoona has announced that Jillian McCarthy and Jordan Tracy will form its new morning news team, beginning Tuesday.

Tracy, who has been at WTAJ for five years, will return to the morning news after hosting WTAJ’s lifestyle program Studio 814 for the past two years.

“I’m really excited to be coming back to the morning show and waking up with Central PA once again,” Tracy, a Lancaster native and Penn State graduate, said.

McCarthy is coming to central Pennsylvania via Colorado.

She started her career at KREX, Grand Junction, Colo., in June 2019.
