Pennsylvania State Police are searching for a Bedford man who allegedly killed a man in Snake Spring Township on Saturday.
Tico Franklin, 38, is wanted on criminal homicide charges in relation to the shooting death of Brian Wayne Hunter, 62, according to a police report.
Franklin fled the scene after allegedly stealing a vehicle and could be in the Baltimore, Maryland, area, police reported.
State police recovered the stolen vehicle along Interstate 70 in Maryland.
According to the Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers website, the shooting happened outside a house on Mile Level Road, just off of Route 30. Troopers said that Franklin and Hunter knew each other, but authorities did not disclose what the altercation was about.
Franklin, who has family ties in Baltimore, is believed to be in possession of a handgun and body armor, according to Crime Stoppers, and any agency encountering him should exercise caution as he may be armed and dangerous.
