Candidate info sought for primary election
The Mirror is accepting information about candidates for offices in the primary election.
Submissions must be emailed to email@example.com before March 31. Photos will be accepted with all candidate announcements.
Submissions must include the candidate’s name, age, address, office being sought, on what ballot their name will appear, as well as the candidate’s educational and current employment and why the candidate is seeking office.
Candidates also should include a telephone number and an email address so the Mirror can contact them in case of questions. The Mirror will not publish telephone numbers or email addresses unless specifically requested to do so by the candidate.
Stories about people seeking county offices can be about 300 words.
Candidates for school boards and city council can send stories that are up to 200 words.
Stories for borough or township positions can be about 150 words.
The primary election is May 18.
The last day to register to vote in the primary is May 3.
