As part of a new initiative, the Allegheny Township Police Department posted a wanted poster Monday on its Facebook page, asking residents to be on the lookout for Daniel Omar Campbell, a 6-foot-tall man with dark hair and weighing about 180 pounds. Police reported Campbell was wanted in connection with a felony theft investigation.
"Each week, we're going to be posting a couple wanted posters," Allegheny Township Assistant Police Chief Michael Robison said. "We're doing this to try to track down our wanted felons through the department. This is just one more tool we're utilizing to close our cases."
Campbell was last seen in Bellwood and is not considered armed or dangerous, but police advised residents do not approach him. Instead, they should contact their local law enforcement officials with information about his whereabouts.
