A Hollidaysburg woman died Wednesday in the Interstate 80 accident during the snowstorm in Clinton County involving 66 vehicles.
State police on Friday identified the victim as 24-year-old Falon Morris.
A 2014 Hollidaysburg Area High School graduate, Falon was the daughter of Greg and Shannon Morris.
She was returning from New York.
News of her death spread quickly Thursday night and Friday, creating an outpouring of grief and support on social media.
Retired Hollidaysburg teacher Russell Stiles wrote on his Facebook page, "I had the privilege of teaching her and taking her, her sister and mom to London on one of my trips. Sending hugs and healing to the family, her friends and the entire Hollidaysburg community."
Rabbi Audrey Korotkin of Temple Beth Israel, where the Morris family has been longtime members, informed her membership Friday by saying, "We remember Falon for her beauty, inside and out … she treated everyone with respect. And she always had many friends around her, who just loved to share her company."
Funeral arrangements have not been finalized.
State troopers say the other reported death, which was medical-related, was 56-year-old man from Mebane, North Carolina.
Investigators said all the other crash victims are currently in stable condition with varying injuries.
Interstate 80 westbound partially re-opened Friday, and the right lane was still being cleared Friday night.
