Trump’s son returning to Blair
Donald Trump Jr. will return to Blair County on Friday to stump for his father, who is seeking a second term as president.
Trump Jr. headlined an Oct. 19 rally at the McLanahan Corp. facility in Hollidaysburg attended by hundreds of area residents.
At Friday’s Make America Great Again rally, Trump Jr. will be joined by guitarist Ted Nugent and bowhunter Cam Hanes. The event will begin at 3 p.m. at the Blair County Convention Center. Doors will open at 1:30.

President Donald Trump led a rally attended by thousands on Monday at the Altoona-Blair County Airport at Martinsburg, flying in on Marine One.
Trump Jr., a fourth-generation businessman, serves as a trustee and executive vice president of the Trump Organization, running the company alongside his younger brother, Eric. Trump Jr. also served as a boardroom judge on his father’s TV show, “The Apprentice.”
Trump Jr. has been active politically, serving on his father’s presidential campaign.
He authored a book called “Triggered” in 2019.
Nugent, also known as the Motor City Madman, is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist and political activist. He performed in Altoona in 2010.
In later years, Nugent has drawn attention for his outspoken conservative political views, as well as his advocacy of hunting and gun ownership rights. Nugent has starred in his own outdoors television show on the Outdoor Channel. He is a board member of the National Rifle Association and a strong supporter of the Republican Party.
Hanes is a backcountry bowhunter and ultra-marathon runner, and the author of “Backcountry Bowhunting: A Guide to the Wild Side” and “Bowhunting Trophy Blacktail.”
