Effective April 3, the Mirror launched a new digital subscription service on altoonamirror.com.
All daily (seven-day home delivery) subscribers of the Mirror's print edition will continue to receive altoonamirror.com free of charge.
For those who are not subscribers to the print edition, the metered access will start with a limit of 15 stories per month, at which time, several different subscription offers will be presented, allowing readers to register and subscribe in order to have continued access for the month of April.
Using the new metered access, non-subscribers will still have unlimited access to the altoonamirror.com main page without any of these views counting to their monthly story total. Once the individual clicks on a story, it will count against their monthly story count.
After users reach the preset story count, they will be directed to various subscription offers before having access to any more stories for the month.
All stories, obituaries and columns will be included in the metered count.
