Heading to the big house
Pennsylvania Correctional Industries, also known as Big House Products, stopped at the Blair County Courthouse on Tuesday for several public seating benches that state prison inmates will repair and restore. Commissioners voted Tuesday to approve the job at $23,441. Inmates from the Blair County Prison assisted with the job of transferring the benches from the 1906 courtroom and loading them into the truck on Allegheny Street. See story on Page A5.
