State picks Everett agency to be Early Learning Resource Center site

The Center for Commu­nity Action, 195 Drive In Lane, Everett, has been selected as the Early Learning Resource Center for Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Franklin, Fulton and Somerset counties.

The selection was made by the state Department of Human Services Office of Child Development and Early Learning.

Beginning July 1, ELRCs will provide a single point of contact for families, early learning service providers and communities to gain information and access services that support high-quality child care and early learning programs.

ELRCs will administer over $680 million in child care subsidy and supports.
