Shapiro, Garrity agree to debate in October

Gov. Josh Shapiro and State Treasurer Stacy Garrity will face off for a televised debate next month. The event between the gubernatorial candidates, scheduled to take place at 8 p.m. Oct. 7, will be hosted by Nexstar Media Inc. and moderated by ABC27’s Dennis Owens. State attorney general targets organized retail theft schemes

Since its creation in early 2024, a division within the Office of Attorney General has launched more than 170 investigations into organized retail theft, Attorney General David Sunday said Tuesday. State bankers team up to launch blockchain network

Forty state bankers associations have convened to create a blockchain network to facilitate services like stablecoin payments in one of the largest collaborations between state bankers to date.
