PATTON Printing business expands Com-Print Inc. has acquired RPM Nittany Printing of Altoona and Keystone Printing of Lakemont. Com-Print is a full-service, family-owned print shop established in 1893 and will continue the traditions of excellence at RPM Nittany Printing, owned by Robert Mastos, and Keystone Printing, owned by Larry and Sharon Hesford. Coffee prices spike due to tariffs

It’s getting more expensive for Americans to get their caffeine fix. The average U.S. price of a pound of ground coffee hit $9.14 in September, a 3% increase from the August average of $8.87 and 41% higher than in September 2024, according to U.S. government figures. USDA issues pork jerky recall

More than 2 million pounds of ready-to-eat Korean barbecue pork jerky is being recalled as it may be contaminated with pieces of metal, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced Friday. The product is made by LSI Inc., an Alpena, S.D., establishment. The affected jerky product has a one-year shelf-life with “best by” dates ranging Oct. 23, 2025, through Sept. 23, 2026, printed on the side of the packaging.
