Briefcase: Pulled pork returns to Sheetz

Business news of local interest

2 min read

BBQ pork is making a BIG comeback at Sheetz. In celebration of National Pork Month this October, Sheetz is bringing back the beloved menu staple with the debut of its newest mighty creation: The Big Pig. Available in mouthwatering variations or made-to-order however you want it, The Big Pig will hit all of Sheetz's more than 850 locations starting Oct. 28.

Launching during National Pork Month and in the thick of football season, The Big Pig is bringing a much-requested favorite back to the Sheetz menu and into your game day lineup. Americans consume nearly 50 pounds of pork per person each year, roughly a pound a week, and Sheetz fans have made their own cravings clear: BBQ pork has been one of the most requested menu items since it was retired in 2020. Six years later, its return goes big.

The Big Pig lineup features unique recipes, each featuring six ounces of seasoned pulled pork piled onto a split-top bun, with combinations of toppings and sauces ranging from a BBQ classic to a bacon-loaded bite or a Cuban-inspired stack. It's a flavor-packed new way for pork lovers to indulge, whether they're fueling up for kickoff or satisfying a post-game craving.
