HOLLIDAYSBURG
Black Dog reopens
A familiar downtown Hollidaysburg dining destination is getting a fresh start. The Black Dog Coffee and Catering, 519 Allegheny St., has reopened under the management of property owner Randy Green, bringing new energy, expanded hours and a renewed commitment to serving the local community.
Before reopening, Green and his team completed a thorough cleaning of the dining room and kitchen, addressed routine maintenance needs and prepared the space to welcome customers back.
The cafe has also welcomed a new chef, Zach Ford, while retaining several familiar faces from its previous staff, offering guests a combination of fresh perspectives and the friendly service they've come to know.
The Black Dog Coffee and Catering is now open for breakfast and lunch on both Saturdays and Sundays.
Green's investment in the property extends beyond The Black Dog itself. He recently converted the neighboring commercial space into a three-bedroom apartment, contributing to the growing mix of residential and commercial uses in the downtown district.

Building on last year's Holidaze excitement, Sheetz is bringing back its signature Holidaze Sub alongside two new holiday-inspired creations, serving up Thanksgiving flavor and goodness for customers to enjoy wherever the road takes them this holiday season.
This year, Sheetz is taking its Thanksgiving flavor to the next level with homemade stuffing baked right into the roll.
