Something new is brewing at DelGrosso's Park this fall.
DelGrosso's Park will debut Del-Ghoul-So's Family-Friendly Halloween Weekends during the first four weekends of October.
The new fall event will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. Del-Ghoul-So's will feature select amusement park rides, live entertainment, special attractions and fall-themed foods, all presented in a fun, family-friendly Halloween atmosphere.
"We are excited to extend the fun into October and offer families a new way to enjoy DelGrosso's Park," said park President Carl Crider Jr. "We wanted Del-Ghoul-So's to have something for the entire family -- from rides and entertainment to animals, Halloween fun and, of course, great food."
Del-Ghoul-So's is a gated special event. Every guest entering the park during the event must purchase a Del-Ghoul-So's Fun Pass, even if they do not plan to ride. Del-Ghoul-So's Fun Passes must be purchased at the park ticket windows.
Finelli's recognized
Finelli's Italian Villa in Altoona was ranked as the No. 16 best hidden gem restaurant in the United States in Tripadvisor's September 2026 Travelers' Choice Awards.
Tripadvisor's "Best of the Best Restaurants and Food," published Sept. 15, ranked the top 20 hidden gem restaurants in the nation, along with categories for casual dining, date night spots and vegan and vegetarian establishments.
According to Tripadvisor, "Finelli's Italian Villa keeps things warm and inviting, with charming decor and a relaxed vibe that makes it easy to settle in. The menu leans on high quality ingredients and beautiful plating -- try the homemade desserts or one of their pasta specials. Staff are friendly and attentive and the prices make it easy to treat yourself without overthinking it."
"We were taken aback, I didn't know what to say. This is unbelievable, this is big time stuff," owner Frank Finelli said.
Frank and Jeanne Finelli have been serving customers since 1993.
