WTAJ-TV has debuted a new local news and discussion program, Daily News Wrap, airing weeknights at 7 p.m. on WTAJ and WTAJ+.

Hosted by WTAJ anchor Paula McKenna, Daily News Wrap takes viewers beyond the headlines by providing context, conversation and insight into the day's biggest local stories. The program features discussions with WTAJ journalists and special guests, offering a deeper look at the issues, events and developments impacting communities across central Pennsylvania.

The 30-minute program recaps major local news stories, explores developing issues and provides analysis and commentary from members of the WTAJ newsroom.

Bloom MedAesthetics has new location

Bloom MedAesthetics, a physician-owned, medical-grade aesthetics and wellness practice, has opened a new location at 1760 S. Atherton St., State College.

The move marks a significant expansion of the practice's footprint, services and patient capacity, reinforcing its position as a premier destination for high-end, results-driven care in central Pennsylvania.

The new 1,400-square-foot facility has been designed to deliver a concierge-level experience that prioritizes privacy, comfort and clinical excellence. The space features four treatment rooms and a dedicated photo room, allowing Bloom MedAesthetics to scale its services and accommodate a growing patient base that currently approaches 2,000 individuals, with capacity to double.

Chamber schedules Down on the Farm event

The Blair County Chamber of Commerce Farm-City Committee is gearing up for its annual "Down on the Farm" event to be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 1 at Corle Homestead Farm located at 283 Corle Homestead Road, Martinsburg.

This popular event offers family-friendly activities, including hayrides, kids activities, animal encounters and the opportunity to experience life on a dairy farm. Admission, which includes a full meal, is $15 per person. Children 10 and under are admitted free of charge.
