South Hills School of Business & Technology's Altoona Campus has been named a 2025-26 ACCSC School of Excellence by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges. This marks the second consecutive accreditation cycle the campus has earned this prestigious national recognition.
The School of Excellence designation is awarded to institutions that demonstrate exceptional achievement in academic quality, student success and continuous improvement. To receive the award, schools must successfully complete the accreditation process with no outstanding compliance findings, demonstrate a strong commitment to ACCSC accreditation standards, and achieve program-level graduation and employment rates that exceed the average of all ACCSC-accredited institutions.
Panera supports Alex's Lemonade Stand
Flynn Group LP, Panera Bread's second-largest franchisee in America, announced its eleventh annual fundraising campaign to benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, a pediatric cancer charity funding cancer treatment research, will take place from now through Aug. 31.
During this summer's fundraising campaign, participating Flynn Group Panera Bread locations will donate 25 cents from Lemon Bundt Cakes, Frozen Lemonade, Frozen Strawberry Lemonade, Regular Agave Lemonade and Strawberry Basil Lemonade sales. Additionally, $1 from each 4-pack of Lemon Bundt Cakes sold and $3 from each lemonade tote sold with catering orders will be donated to the foundation. Guests also have the option to round up their checks or donate a dollar amount at checkout to show their support until Sept. 30.
