PA CareerLink Blair County will celebrate PA CareerLink Days by hosting its annual Fall Job Fair Aug. 26 at the Jaffa Shrine.
The event will feature 95-plus employers from Blair County and surrounding communities who are actively recruiting for a wide range of full-time, part-time, seasonal and entry-level positions.
The job fair runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with veteran priority access from 9:30 to
10 a.m. This free event provides job seekers with the opportunity to meet directly with hiring managers, participate in interviews and explore careers in healthcare, manufacturing, education, retail, public service, transportation and many other industries.
Muccitelli Foundation plans golf tournament
The Muccitelli Family Foundation will host a golf tournament at 9 a.m. Sept. 1 at the Sinking Valley Country Club.
The goal of the event is to raise money for 130 Tempur-Pedic mattresses and complete bedding sets for children.
Park Home and Park Security started The Muccitelli Family Foundation with a simple goal: to give back, invest in local communities and create opportunities for children and families who need a helping hand.

Applebee's supports Alex's Lemonade Stand
Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar locations owned and operated by Flynn Group, has officially kicked off its annual fundraiser supporting Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to funding pediatric cancer research and family support programs.
Now through Aug. 30, Applebee's restaurants will transform into lemonade stands as part of a seven-week campaign to raise funds in the fight against childhood cancer. At participating Flynn Applebee's locations, guests can support Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation with every sip, as 50 cents from each ALSF Lemon Berry Sunshine, 25 cents from every regular or flavored lemonade, and 10 cents from each Mucho Blushing Dragon, Mucho Prickly Plunge Margarita and Mucho Blackflippn' Blue Margarita will be donated to ALSF.
