Maddigan

New hires and promotions

Jacob Maddigan has joined the Land Development division as an Environmental Scientist and Alexander Dixon as an intern in the Water-Wastewater division of Keller Engineers, Inc.

Maddigan brings strong academic and field experience in environmental science, with a focus on ecological investigations, water quality analysis, and habitat assessment. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Biology with a concentration in Fisheries and Wildlife Management at Shippensburg University, where his research examines trout populations, water quality and watershed management in Michaux State Forest.

Dixon is a sophomore at Pennsylvania College of Technology where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Design Technology. As an intern in the Water/Wastewater division, he hopes to further strengthen his design and AutoCAD skills.

Christopher J. Hamilton has been named the new president and CEO at Concurrent Technologies Corporation, Johnstown, effective June 29.

succeeds Edward J. Sheehan Jr., who will retire on June 30 after 33 years of service to the organization.

Hamilton is a 30-year industry veteran who has experience in large corporations, small companies and academic research organizations. At Parsons Corporation, he led an advanced technology group developing solutions to protect client personnel and critical infrastructure from emerging threats. He was responsible for the development of a Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems program, including the establishment of the company’s CUAS Center of Excellence in West Virginia.

Dr. Rashid Awan will join the cancer care team of Conemaugh Health System on July 1, providing hematology and oncology services at the Conemaugh East Hills Cancer Center.

Awan brings more than 20 years of experience in cancer care and a strong commitment to delivering personalized, compassionate treatment to patients facing complex diagnoses. Throughout his career, he has cared for patients with a wide range of cancers, including lung, breast and prostate cancer, while helping individuals and families navigate every stage of their cancer journey.

Hamilton

Adam Lanzendorfer has joined P. Joseph Lehman Inc., Consulting Engineers as a designer in its highway department.

Lanzendorfer, of Northern Cambria, is a 2026 graduate of Saint Francis University with a bachelor of science degree in general engineering. He previously completed four summer internships with PennDOT District 9-0 in Hollidaysburg.
