Local diner to be on show
A local diner soon will be featured on America’s Best Restaurants Roadshow, a popular internet-based media and marketing show that travels the country to spotlight independent, locally-owned eateries.
An America’s Best Restaurants film crew stopped Monday at Jamie’s Diner, 1302 Pennsylvania Ave.
It features, on average, 10 new episodes weekly on YouTube and social media, highlighting unique dishes and the stories behind “mom and pop” restaurants.
Jamie’s Diner, owned by Jamie Ross, opened for business May 1, 2025.
“We are super excited that they found and chose us to be featured,” said Harkey Orsborne, Jamie’s daughter and public relations director. “There are so many wonderful hidden gems all throughout Pennsylvania and to think we are one of the ones picked to be featured is beyond amazing. We are so blessed to have an opportunity like this arise especially with us only being established for a year so far.”
