Mental health training set
The “Cambria County Perinatal Mental Health Disorders Training” program will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 22 at the Holiday Inn, 250 Market St., Johnstown.
The program is a multidisciplinary training designed to equip health care providers with the tools to identify, support and treat patients facing perinatal mental health challenges.
The training is divided into two parts, focusing first on clinical understanding and then on practical intervention strategies.
This training is free to Cambria County provider agencies, schools, human services agencies, community organizations and community members. Anyone wishing to attend this training who is not located in Cambria County or does not work for one of the aforementioned agencies will be charged a fee of $15.

Business open house planned
Mutual Benefit Group will host a Huntingdon Business Appreciation Open House from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. April 8 at its office located at 409 Penn St. in Huntingdon.
The event is open to local business owners and community members and is intended to recognize and celebrate the businesses that contribute to the vitality of Huntingdon County.
The open house will provide an opportunity for networking, conversation and connection among members of the local business community. Attendees are invited to stop by, enjoy light hors d’oeuvres and drinks and hear brief remarks from local government representatives, business resource organizations and community partners.
There is no cost to attend.
