For the entire month of December, customers at all 800-plus Sheetz stores throughout Pennsylvania, Michigan, Maryland, Ohio, North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia can support local families in need of clothes, toys and more this holiday season. Customers can do this by making a donation at check-out through donation boxes or adding donations to their purchase at the point of sale.
New this December, customers placing online orders also have the option to donate by rounding up their total or adding a donation to their purchase. Sheetz For the Kidz hosts these in-store campaigns every July and December.
For the first time in its history, Sheetz For the Kidz exceeded $1 million during its annual July campaign earlier this year. And in 2024, customers raised more than $1.8 million for children in need through in-store fundraising during July and December.
Seven Springs set to open
Seven Springs Mountain Resort will officially open for the 2025/26 winter season on Saturday.
The opening day celebration will include a first chair banner break at Polar Bear Express, prizes for the first chair riders, a live DJ, cookies, cocoa and more giveaways on the plaza near the ticket windows.
Limited terrain and early season conditions exist. Lift access begins at 8 a.m. with full resort services available, including rentals, lessons, dining and retail.
