Property donated to college
AAA Central Penn announced a partnership with Juniata College that includes the donation of its former branch location at 608 Washington St. in Huntingdon to the college and the establishment of an annual scholarship program for area high school students.
The storefront property gifted by AAA Central Penn enables the college to realize a longtime aspiration of establishing a downtown space for activities and programs to benefit Huntingdon residents and the campus community.
The partnership between AAA Central Penn and Juniata College also establishes a scholarship toward tuition at the college, which will be awarded annually to a high school graduate from Huntingdon or Juniata counties.
