MCA acquires ComPros Inc.

Restaurants honor veterans
Restaurants owned and operated by Flynn Group will be honoring all veterans and active-duty military on Veterans Day, Nov. 11.
Flynn Applebee’s locations will be honoring all veterans and active-duty military with a free meal. Additionally, through their “Buy a Vet a Beer” promotion, guests can purchase a pre-paid pint of beer for a veteran, accompanied by a special message from the purchaser, now through Nov. 11. Any beers not claimed will have the funds donated to a local veterans’ charity.
Flynn Panera locations will be honoring all veterans and active-duty military with a free pastry or bakery item & cup of coffee.
College open house planned
Juniata College, 1700 Moore St., Huntingdon, will host an open house Sunday, Nov. 9. Prospective students will have the opportunity to meet students and staff and learn what the college has to offer. Those interested should register at juniata.edu.
