New hires and promotions
Katie Cuff has joined Hillman Cancer Center of Altoona as patient service coordinator.
Cuff previously worked for U.S. Digestive Health (previously known as Blair Gastroenterology) for 12 years and has experience in medical sciences along with many certifications.
Leland Calistri has joined Swift Kennedy & Associates State College office as strategic partnerships manager.
In this role, Calistri is focused on maintaining client relationships and identifying their specific needs to ensure they receive the highest level of service.
Scott Sieron has joined Swift Kennedy & Associates State College office as self-funded data analytics, reporting and program support.
With his background in supporting agents/advisors in the personal insurance and securities sales/planning industry, Sieron brings valuable expertise to the Swift Kennedy team.
Jim Brown has been appointed as executive officer of the Blair Bedford Builders Association, succeeding Dave DeBiase, who is retiring after 16 years of exceptional leadership.
Brown brings decades of experience and a strategic vision to the role. A longtime advocate and active member of the association, Brown previously served as BBBA president and president of the Pennsylvania Builders Association in 2016. He is also president of J.R. Brown Construction Inc., based in Hollidaysburg, and will continue to lead the company while serving as executive officer.
Dr. John Kutzfara has joined the medical staff of Conemaugh Health System as an interventional radiologist with Laurel Highlands Interventional Radiology. Kutzfara brings advanced training and experience in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures that will expand access to high-quality care for patients across the region.
As an interventional radiologist, Kutzfara specializes in procedures including angiography, embolization, vascular access and image-guided biopsies.
Course completions and certifications
Frederick (Rick) Terry, business advisor at the Innovative Manufacturers Center, has successfully earned the CESMII Smart Manufacturing Acceleration Roadmap Professional Certification from Rensselaer at Work, a division of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
The CESMII developed certification recognizes professionals who demonstrate advanced knowledge and practical skills in designing and implementing customizable strategies that accelerate digital transformation within manufacturing operations. Through the program, participants learn to align emerging technologies with business objectives, streamline production processes and drive innovation across manufacturing systems.
