President Donald Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping are meeting face-to-face today in South Korea. Jury convicts activist who took chickens
Jurors have convicted a California animal rights activist for taking four chickens from a major Perdue Farms poultry plant. Zoe Rosenberg was found guilty Wednesday of trespassing and conspiracy. She says she was rescuing the chickens but prosecutors say broke the law. The 23-year-old activist faces more than five years in prison.
She was charged with one count of felony conspiracy, one count of trespassing to interfere with a business, one count of trespassing on land where an animal is being held for human consumption, and one count of tampering with a vehicle.

Budweiser brewer AB InBev is set to end Heineken's three-decade-long run as the official beer sponsor of soccer's Champions League in a statement deal for the competition's new global sales agent Relevent. The joint business venture between Champions League organizer UEFA and the European Football Clubs group says exclusive talks with AB InBev will begin for a six-year deal starting in 2027.

Enbridge plan to encase aging oil pipeline approved
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has approved energy company Enbridge's plan to encase a segment of an aging oil pipeline beneath a Great Lakes channel. The decision Wednesday comes despite findings that construction could harm the environmentally sensitive area. The Corps fast-tracked the project in April after a directive from President Trump.
Enbridge now needs a permit from Michigan's Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy to start the project. Environmentalists are urging the state to deny the permit. Concerns about the pipeline's safety have been growing since 2017, leading to multiple lawsuits and ongoing debates.
