Kish president speaks at banking conference
Kish Bank's expansion into Blair County has a new level of significance. President and CEO Greg Hayes brought the community bank's voice to one of the highest-profile banking stages in the country: the Federal Reserve's Community Bank Conference.
Hayes joined a panel of national leaders, including Vice Chair Michelle Bowman, U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Vlad Tenev of Robinhood and Stephen Schwarzman of Blackstone. CNBC's Jim Cramer served as moderator. The event focused on the regulatory landscape for community banks and how policy can support local lending.
Kish Bank has recently begun expanding in Blair County, with plans to add additional branch locations in the coming years. Hayes has also engaged with the Blair County Chamber of Commerce as part of Kish's investment in the region.
