SFU sets online seminar

Saint Francis University Small Business Development Center and Somerset Trust Company have scheduled a pre-business planning webinar for 4 p.m. Sept. 24.

This free, online seminar is for people who are interested in opening and operating their own business.

Drew selected for award

Greg Drew, retired President of Value Drug Co, is the recipient of the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award for Business Excellence from the Blair County Chamber of Commerce.

This prestigious award will be presented to Drew at the Chamber’s Business Excellence Dinner on Oct. 6 at the Blair County Convention Center.

The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes an individual who is regarded as a business leader in the region and who has positively impacted the Blair County business community for an extended period of time. As president, Drew’s leadership was instrumental in the rapid growth and success of Value Drug Co. Known for being a firm believer in giving back to his community, he has dedicated many hours to organizations, such as Operation Our Town, as well as serving on many boards and community initiatives.
