First National to expand
First National Bank, the largest subsidiary of F.N.B. Corporation, plans to add nearly 30 new branches to its network during the next five years.
The majority of the planned branches will advance and support F.N.B.’s significant expansion in North Carolina, South Carolina and the Bank’s Mid-Atlantic Region, which spans Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C.
The company has total assets of nearly $50 billion and approximately 350 banking offices throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Washington, D.C., and Virginia.

The Blair County Chamber Breakfast Club, to be held at 7:45 a.m. Sept. 18 at the Blair County Convention Center, will feature state Sen. Judy Ward and state Rep. Scott Barger. Their presentation, “The State of the State’s Budget: Priorities and Challenges for 2026,” will provide insight into the state budget and how it will impact the region as we move forward into the coming year.
