This national recognition highlights the hospital’s commitment to ensuring stroke patients receive timely, evidence-based treatment that improves outcomes, saves lives and reduces long-term disability.

Get With The Guidelines – Stroke is an in-hospital program designed to help hospitals consistently apply the latest scientific guidelines to stroke care. Developed by the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association, the program improves patient outcomes by encouraging consistent, research-driven clinical practices.

Kongsberg awarded contract

The United States Marine Corps has awarded a full-rate production contract to Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace valued at up to $330 million for the 30mm remote turret for the Amphibious Combat Vehicle 30mm program.

The first order on the contract from PEO Land Systems Program Manager Advanced Amphibious Assault includes a substantial number of turrets to be manufactured at Kongsberg’s remote weapon system facility in Johnstown. A recent expansion at the facility has resulted in more jobs and a dedicated medium caliber turret production line.

All remote weapon stations and remote turrets delivered to U.S. customers are manufactured in Kongsberg’s Johnstown facility.
