Colonial Courtyard at Tyrone earned IntegraCare's Silver Level Award for its prompt handling of residents' call bell requests during the second quarter of 2025.

Giant Eagle joins retailer network

Giant Eagle Inc. is the latest pharmacy to join the Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drugs retailer network.

Giant Eagle Pharmacy customers who participate in the Cost Plus Drugs program can now pick up qualifying prescriptions at one of more than 200 Giant Eagle Pharmacy locations throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland and Indiana.

Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company's mission is to offer safe medicines at the lowest possible price. The company negotiates drug prices directly with manufacturers and provides patients with transparency on the costs that go into providing the medications.

UPMC Altoona recognized for heart attack treatments

UPMC Altoona has received the American College of Cardiology's NCDR Chest Pain -- Myocardial Infarction Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award for 2025, and is one of only 323 hospitals nationwide to receive the honor.

The award recognizes UPMC Altoona's commitment and success in implementing a higher standard of care for heart attack patients and signifies it has reached an aggressive goal of treating these patients to standard levels of care outlined by the American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association clinical guidelines and recommendations.
